Angola A Nation In Need

Need is a powerful word, it is a word that we all use freely when talking with family. We need this or that, God has promised to provide all our needs. My cousin calledh home and told his mom, God will provide all my needs, is that right mom? "Yes, his mom responded." Then I need a red convertable for school. Girls like red and it is a great need. You can image what my aunt responded. But he had this need. What is your need today?

I want to say that the Word of God goes beyond supplying our needs, God has promise to give us a new heart, and new life and then to give us the desires of our heart. I believe that, but most of us don't know what our desires are really.

The will of God is discovered and not decided by us. We who are born again have become new creations in Christ Jesus. We are completely new, forgiven, cleaned and created for good works. Those good works that the Father has prepared before hand for us to involved with in this life. Life is short, you will only really know that when you can count many friends that have gone on before you. As I set here today, a friends son of 56 years old when to be with the Lord not lest that ten days ago on a missions trip. Another notice came of a young youth pastor's wife going home under 30 years of age with cancer. What am I trying to say, life is short, we have not promise of how long our life will be down here. So count your days and enjoy the journey, that is all we have is today.

Love you, keep growing in the Lord, the time is coming when we will all be around the throne talking about old times together, these are the days we must create memories for eternity. We have only a few days to win victories, that we will celebrate together for all of eternity.

Please pray for Angola, I hope to be there in April 2008. Our school there is started with about 5,000 students, keep them and the churches in your prayers. Thank you!

Good Morning! This was the promise to Israel when they went out to fight.

Leviticus 26:7-9 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. [8] And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. [9] For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

Deut. 32:30-31 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? [31] For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Proverbs 16:7 When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Everyone needs a team, it is a joy to have you on our team for missions.

It is evening, but seems like morning, as we work for our ministry trip to Liberia, West Africa. The needs are many and we would like to invite you to pray of those listed here today.

1. We will be ministering in a Pastor's Church Conference. Pray that the Lord release healing among these people, also that visitors will come and receive Christ as their Savior.
2. We have asked God to give us 35 friends that help with $100 for the trip costs. As of today we have 12 friends that have been able to help. So your help is needed. 3. We will be visiting two other ministries and making plans for future partnership and ministry in Africa. Please keep the 54 nations of Africa in your prayers.

Liberia Ministry & Fact Finding Trip September 2007

Dear Friends,

Please keep my upcoming trip to Liberia in your prayers. I have been invited by Pastor Stephen D. Lewis to speak at their up coming convention in September 2007 for four days. Pr. Lewis and his churches desire to become part of our African Fellowship of Abundant Life Association.

I hope also to make contact with other missionaries working in the nation. This year we were able to send rice and rice vinegar to the needy nation. The nation is 3.3 million people and continues to have an unemployment rate of 80% to 85 %. The believers in Liberia need our prayers and support.

The nation is coming out of a 14 year Civil War. There is a great need to rebuild the nation and reach the people with the Gospel. 60% of Liberia needs the Gospel. Again remember the churches, pastors and people among the Faith in Christ Churches, Monrovia, Liberia.

We will be ministering as the Lord permits on Healing, Christian Stewardship and Miracles for the nation.

The Prayer of Three

It is powerful and will open your world to see the lost won to Christ.

The gathering can be 2 to 4 people, who come for a month, they bring a list of three people they would like to see saved.

The first month, they pray each week together, then in the 2nd and 3rd months they invite these people to attend the house meeting.

The house meeting has five elements, prayer, worship, fellowship, Word of God and invitation. The goal is to invite people into fellowship and to receive Christ as their Savior.

Jeremiah the Weeping Prophet

Jeremiah the Weeping Prophet

In the autobiography of this weeping prophet of Judah, one of God’s greatest prophets we find someone who challenged his own nation with their great sins:
1. There was their sin of apostasy … desertion, defection, withdrawal, abandonment, falseness and tergiversation.
2. There was their sin of idolatry … worship of idols, worship, adoration, reverence, burnt offering, idol-worship and fan’s idol worship. Fan’s idol worship is seen as infatuation, obsession, mania, fervor, excitement, enthusiasm, excessive devotion, and ecstasy.
3. There was their perverted worship … deviating, distorted, corrupt, wicked, abnormal, misguided, freakish, aberrant and unnatural. Aberrant worship is deviate, deviating, devious, divergent, diverging, errant, erring, straying or wondering worship.
4. There was their moral decay … The one that is not moral is immoral, moral means all that is virtuous, pure and good. Immoral means that they were immoral, unethical, evil and vicious. Vicious means corrupt, reprehensible, malicious and untamed. Corrupt means one is degenerate, vile, depraved, immoral, iniquitous, profligate, base and bad. While reprehensible means blameworthy, censurable, improper and wrong. Then malicious means refractory, malevolent, spiteful, malignant, bad –tempered, and ill tempered. Untamed means to be wild and unruly. So they were without morals.
Decay means it is not flourishing, growing, increasing or making any progress. Decay is decline, ebb, decadence, decrease, failure, consumption, ruin, degeneration and collapse. Anther word used for decay is rot, which means waste, decomposition, adulteration, and break down, putrefaction, breakup, corrupt and crumble.
For these and other sins the Judgement of God was in the nations near future. Be forewarned that judgement is coming. But to our surprise the people of Judah will the resent example of Israel. Their response is not repentance toward God, but rejection of the prophet and God’s message. So Jeremiah who ministered for forty years experiences opposition, isolation, imprisonment and exile. He called and served forty years of faithful duty, Jeremiah lives to see prophecy fulfilled in God’s judgement of Judah and her exile to Babylon.

Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. [8] For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Let’s not be deceived today. We will reap what we sow. The law of eventualities what we eat we become, what we sow we will reap. Everyone will be rewarded for his labor, his work in the earth.

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

We must be about the will of the Father, as we know it. Then the Holy Spirit will lead us into the works He has called us too.

Jeremiah had a hard ministry, but the Gospel ministry is better things, although not all will believe and be saved, there will be great numbers that hear, respond and become all that God has called them to be! We are to build up the body in Christ Jesus. Amen.

365 Five Elements of a God-Given Vision

The book of Nehemiah chapters 1-6 describe how Nehemiah had the vision to complete the rebuilding of the wall around Jerusalem, despite overwhelming obstacles. These chapters show that a God-given vision contains five elements:
1. GOD GIVEN VISION CHANGES PEOPLE AND CIRCUMSTANCES.
The vision sees a better-improved spiritual and physical environment. Nehemiah knew how the rebuilt wall represented privacy, prosperity, protection and a demonstration of the power for God's people would be free to come worship and to serve God (Neh 1:2-3).
2. GOD GIVEN VISION IS DIVINELY GIVEN REVELATION.
Vision is divinely inspired, not humanly created or manipulated. Nehemiah knew that the vision didn't come from within him, but directly from God to his heart. Vision creates partnership between man and God. Dependence, Independence or Interdependence are the three ways men can live. God’s vision shows man that together He has a better plan and way of working together.
(Neh 1:4-7, 11).
3. GOD GIVEN VISION FOCUSES ON WHAT GOD WANTS FOR HIS PEOPLE.
The vision furnishes direction to the unseen future. It encourages faithfulness today. It involves seeing the situation from God’s desired results. Now as we walk in faith seeking God and allowing God to open hearts to aid and to assist the vision of God. The present realities can be transformed into His desired will. The vision is the wisdom of God given to us. With that wisdom planted in us, we need to add to it knowledge, what does it take to get the job done. Now walking by faith, not by sight, one moves forward in prayer for the understanding of the times and seasons. Nehemiah having felt the heart beat of God know that the reputation of Israel and Jehovah were on the line or at stake (Neh 1: 8-9).
4. GOD GIVEN VISION COMES AT THE RIGHT TIME TO MEET A SPECIFIC NEED.
The vision fits a specific need and time period. At the appointed time, the release of favor came. Nehemiah had already added knowledge to be ready to answer those who asked. What do you need to do this? God had gifted and prepared the heart and life of Nehemiah for his calling and for this vision. God released favor with others to see this happen for His own glory. (Neh 1:11b, 2:6).
5. GOD GIVEN VISION REVEALS THE WILL OF GOD AND LEAVES A MENTAL BLUEPRINT OF THE DESIRED RESULT.
The vision serves as a blueprint in your heart and mind. Always we see in our inner man before we see it happen in time. God gave Nehemiah a clear picture of the end result (Neh 2:3-5, 7-9).

Brazil - Great News

Yesterday I was on the phone with Brazil. We have partnered with Pr. Gilmar Varges de Lima for a worldwide internet Collage. For several months this project has been in development. We still need $1,500 a month or $18,000 a year for this project. Just 10 people or churches helping with $150 a month will put us on the map.
We do have good news to share, the school now has 40 students. Praise God!
Now the need is to find some friends to help our students with scholarships in the near future, so many come from very needy areas of Brazil and round the world. If you would like to sponsor a student .. .give me a call at the office. Your help is needed.
We are helping with a few dollars a month the school and with the website. So keep this effort as well in your prayers.

Pakistan A Nation in Need

For a few minutes today we met concerning our efforts in Pakistan. The desire is to provide assistance in the future to needy groups. The plans are in the making, to make a difference there in the future.
It is great to focus on helping others be a success. I hope today you are doing the same. It was Eldon's hope to visit Pakistan this fall along with the nations of Africa. There are so many needed places where believers need encouragement from the west.
Would you join with us to pray for Pakistan, JJ is our contact, he could use our prayer covering as he returns for ministry this fall.
Thank you for remembering our efforts to make a difference in the world with the Gospel and with aid. All of us doing the little we can today, when joined together with what God can do, it will be a lot.

The Fire of God - Comes to Waiter on God

We live in a time where people, the people of God, have forgotten the truth about waiting on God. As a boy, I can remember when churches had weeks of revival. In fact as a young man, evangelist would talk about the first week of revival as a week to encourage the pastor and get him saved and on fire for revival.

In every generation there is the need for true revival. Will the present instant generation be willing to wait on God for an out pouring of the Holy Spirit? A Spirit sent revival? At a time when people have so many needs, and yet, spend so little time waiting on God.

I am concerned that the art of waiting on God has been replaced with something else... idols of our time and eaters of our lives.

What does this quote bring to your mind and heart:

"Ever since I was a child, I have ministered to huge crowds and I have seen thousands of people saved, healed, and delivered by the power of God Almighty. God's fire compels me to reach out to the lost and hurting people of this world."

Does the fire of the Holy Spirit so burn in us today that we are moved to help others? That is my question to you today? Have we become satisfied with just be religious. Having a form of godliness and our own righteousness, which is void of power to save ourselves and others?

Have a passion for something from God in your life. Five billion people are waiting for the Christians of America to be filled with fire, fire that will move them to action. What action are you willing to do to help others today?

Open Doors

"For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries." 1 Cor. 16:9

As I arrived at work today, the phones were busy. The phones have been busy this week.

Ardery from Haiti called today. He is working to provide aid to his home nation. The Lord has gifted and is qualifying himself to rise up a team to stand with him for that nation. Keep him in your prayers, Haiti is a nation that needs our love and prayers.

Yesterday, Bishop Barnard from Kenya called. He has been traveling the states seeking support for his evangelism, church planting and caring for children. Keep Bishop in your prayer they are doing a wonderful work of planting churches. Over 500 churches have been planted through his efforts over the past years. Praise the Lord.

Yesterday, in Brazil, I notice that a friend had started his 153rd church-planting project. That is over the last seven years of his missionary time in Brazil. Keep Missionary Phillip Murdock and family in your prayers.

Shelley from Angola sent us a message today. Things are going well. The rain has disrupted the capital. They are well. My brother is still recovering from his nose surgery. Keep them in your prayers.

Twyla available to Help, Twyla has been working outside or ministry now for many years. Her work has funded our living expense while I have focus on ministry. She has worked, since we were at the Full Gospel in the 1990’s. That door closed for her this last week.

We are thankful to the Lord for this new opportunity to work together again. We desire her to be able to work in the office with me. Then for her to travel we me more. Agree with us today in prayer for provision to be released for our work.

We have many open doors! But there are also many adversaries.

We have asked the Lord to raise up seven Covenant Partners to invest in our ministry efforts with $1,000 a month or more believe with us for this to happen in the next 90 days.

We also have asked the Lord for 300 Covenant Partners to stand with us in prayer and monthly support to enable us to move forward in touching the Portuguese nations of the world.

Eaglewook Middle School Pack

We had a great time with this group of young people as they packaged meals for overseas.

This is one of the efforts of Feeding Children Worldwide seeking to involve young people in an answer to world hunger. 800 million people go to bed hungry in our world. Food provided and packaged by volunteers is a way to help some of them.

On this day we have 141 students plus teach involved.

WE DETERMINE OUR OWN SUCCESS

Yesterday, I shared with 100 students, at a local school, that we can accomplish our dreams if we learn lessons from these 7 words.

Attitude – we must choose a right attitude.
Change – we need to change and be able to adapt to change.
Goals – we need to make, track and keep on focus with goals.
Opportunities – we must make the best of the opportunities that are around us.
Mentors – we must have mentors in every area of our calling or occupation.
Preparation – we must establish a good foundation. We will always be preparing for new levels in our life.
Pursuit – we must be willing to pursue with all our hearts.

I hope these bless you in your pursuit of God's will and blessings in your life.

Aims That Honor God In Our Callings!

I received from Missionary Lenoard Jones from Honduras this e-mail. I wanted to bless you by passing it on to you. Lenoard and his wife sold everything and moved about three years ago to take care of babies and unwed mothers in the nation of Honduras.

Saints Who Are They?

Saints Who Are They?

State the Problem: Some misinformed and misguided Christians going around confessing they are still sinners. Leading other Christians in the confession that they are sinners.

State Your Concern: Doing these types of confessions or prayers I believe opens up any believers confessing this wrong theology to Satan. It potentially gives Satan a stronghold in their life. This we must not do; we must agree with the Word of God. The word states that I once was a sinner, but now I am a saint saved by grace; I no longer have to serve my old nature because I am a new creation in Christ Jesus.

Satan’s power is broken: When Christians were sinners by nature, they were servants of sin and in bondage to sin. They were blinded by the Spirit of the air and unable to help themselves. Sin, sickness, selfishness, sexual drives and Satan ruled and reigned in their minds and hearts. Saints have been delivered from this state into another household and Kingdom; the Kingdom of Light and of the Son of God! Sin no longer rules or reigns in the life of a believer, unless they continue to confess they are sinners and under sin. If you are doing this, stop lying against the truth . . . you are sinning against your own new nature.

When someone is saved, they were sinners, but now they are saints because they believed on Jesus Christ, having confessed their sins and need of Him. When we call upon the Lord He hears us and saves us. All those who believe on and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior have become New Creations in Christ Jesus. What you were outside of Christ, you no longer are in Christ.

2 Cor. 5:17- "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

New Creature: In the New Testament the world was divided into two groups; the saints and the sinners.

The company of Sinners are those who have never received a new nature, never been saved, never received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, have never called upon the Lord for salvation.

Then the Saints are those who have called upon the Lord. They are those who have passed from darkness to light. We cannot be both sinner and saint. They have passed from death to life, and now are in Christ Jesus as new creations. They are empowered by Christ to be more than conquerors in Christ Jesus (John 1:12, Romans 8:37).

John 1:12- "But as many as received him, to them gave he power (authority) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"

Romans 8:37- "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."

Now a saint is no longer a sinner. Did you hear me? A saint is no longer a sinner by nature. He should never go around praying or claiming to be a sinner. You cannot be both at the same time, saint and sinner.

It is a fact that always in the New Testament God addresses Christians as saints. The old nature of sin is killed and the new nature formed after Christ has been born in us. We are saints in Christ Jesus. The old man is dead and buried with us in Christ Jesus. Faith in Christ Jesus as our Savior causes us to be born from above.

Now in Christ Jesus we are saints, separated from sin and dedicated to serve Christ. As we once served sin, and were slaves to sin, now we are free in Christ to serve Christ. We have been freed from sin and our sinful nature to willingly become slaves to righteousness.

Can a saint sin? Yes, a saint can fall into sin. Can sin tempt a saint or can a saint be tempted by sin? Yes. But the Holy Spirit is present to bring conviction to the heart of the saint. If they listen then they will repent, and in so doing renew their link with the Lord. 1 John 1:9- "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

The power of sin is broken in the life of the saint. But for that to be manifest in daily living the saint must believe it, receive it and act upon it. We must resist temptation and all the schemes of darkness for the enemy to run from us. Resist in faith having submitted yourself to the Father.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 Peter 5:6-11 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: [7] Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you. [8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: [9] Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. [10] But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. [11] To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Make No Room for the Flesh or the Devil. What we believe and confess will make a difference between walking in bondage and defeat as a believer or walking in victory. Many people make an excuse for the flesh, because of the false teaching that saints are still sinners. Saints are not sinners, sinners are sinners, saints are saints. We are ordered to put on Christ and make no provision, no compromise for the flesh or sin in our lives.

Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

For example, the pig loves mud, and when you wash a pig and give him his freedom, by his nature he still loves mud and will return to the mud. But when we are saved we are no longer pigs but sheep. Sheep don’t like mud. But they do get dirty, and fall into mud sometimes. We have a new nature as Christians, as Believers. That is why we have no excuse and there should be no sin having dominion over us as saints.

Ephes. 5:3-11- "But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; [4] Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. [5] For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [6] Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. [7] Be not ye therefore partakers with them. [8] For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: [9] (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) [10] Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. [11] And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."

When a saint sins, what then? As for the saints, the Holy Spirit does not condemn them, but the Holy Spirit calls them to repentance, seeking not to condemn them but to lead them to confess their sins. But a saint no longer lives in sin; no longer is he a sinner by nature. Now he or she is freed from sin in Christ Jesus. When the saint confesses their sins they are forgiven.

1 John 1:9- "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Can a saint be sick? Yes, a saint can be attacked by sickness just as they can be tempted by sin. If they yield to temptation, they sin. But they do not by nature become a sinner again. If they refuse to repent, they can become a reprobate. The Holy Spirit speaks to them to repent. As for sickness, if a saint is attacked by sickness, they can accept or reject this attack. If they take ownership of this attack, by confessing "this is my cancer, my cold", then they yield to the enemy. Yielding like these opens a stronghold to the enemy, which will hinder their healing, or deliverance. Some people so compromise their confession that they accommodate the sickness as an old friend. So much so that they identify with those of the same sickness and seek no healing. They don’t hate the enemy or the sickness enough to fight or to take a scriptural stand against the sickness.

If we make an excuse for sin or for sickness or any other attack or addition of darkness, then we give Satan a stronghold in our life or body.

Wrong habits of anger, hate, and unforgiveness fall into this classification. If we label with our confession of words our sinful or shameful habits, we justify ourselves and God is limited in what he can do for the indifferent and deceived. We must hate sin, sickness, selfishness and any emotional or shameful habit that has formed an attachment to our life. God is the giver of every perfect gift! Satan is the source of sin, sickness, selfishness and bad emotional habits.

In the same way, saints going around confessing their are still sinners, as some uninformed brothers do over radio, TV and even in church. When they do so, they give a stronghold to sin in their lives. These people open themselves up to give Satan a stronghold over their lives and minds. Never confess you are a sinner when in fact you are a saint in Christ Jesus. These people put to shame what Jesus did for them, refusing to accept their own deliverance and new nature.

Personal Experience: As a saint, I have sinned, or fallen into sin many times, but the Holy Spirit pointed that sin out to me. Yes, and I confessed my sin. I claimed 1 John 1:9 which promises us that, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I was forgiven and I want always to confess my missing the mark of completeness or perfection.

Please understand that Jesus purchased for us more than salvation; He made a way for us to have a life of overcoming victory- over being a sinner by nature, over being sick, and over being tempted to do evil.

The power to choose, to resist or to accept the temptations and sicknesses placed upon us has been given to us; those who are Born Again in Christ Jesus chose to resist all the attacks of the enemy. They use their shield of faith to win the victory.

Ephes. 6:16 says, "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."

Before the fire of temptation, sickness or sin takes hold of your life again. We have been given faith, and by faith we take a stand. We believe the truths spoken over us by Jesus. We are New Creations in Christ Jesus. We have power to overcome all the schemes of the enemy.

Romans 3:4- "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you may be justified in your sayings, and may overcome when thou art judged."

Romans 12:21- "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

2 Peter 2:19-20- "While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. [20] For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning."

1 John 4:4- "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

Overcoming is our choice! That is our choice; we have been given authority to choose. We make the choice to believe in our mind, and when we believe the promise over the circumstances, traditions and darts of the enemy, we will have faith birthed in our spirit, and with that faith in our heart, we will be empowered to receive the promise of wholeness in Christ Jesus.

John 1:12 says "But as many as received him, to them gave he power (authority) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"

Jesus is our Savior, Healer and Lord. By His names we see the provision of God to make us whole in this life.

We must believe it, receive it, confess it, and resist the enemy in faith. That means our prayers and confession of words agrees with the promises and provisions given us in Jesus name! When we do that we authorize the answer to be sent from the Father through the Holy Spirit to us. We receive it by faith before it is manifested in our life.

We are saved when we believe Jesus died for us and gave himself that we might be saved.

We are healed when we allow Jesus to become our Healer.

We are changed daily as we believe the Word of God and yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit.

Have you received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of your life?

Then you are not any longer a sinner, but a saint. Don't allow Satan a foothold in your life; don't allow religious people to continue to label you a sinner. It is a lie from the pit of hell. It is a tradition of men and found nowhere in the Word of God.

Christians are never addressed as sinners in the New Testament Church. Look and meditate on these examples of Christians or Believers being called saints:

In the Book of Acts:

Acts 9:13- "Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:"

Acts 9:32- "And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda."

Acts 9:41- "And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.

Acts 26:10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them."

In The Book of Romans:

Romans 1:7- "To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ."

Romans 8:27- "And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."

Romans 12:13- "Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality."

Romans 15:25-26- "But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. [26] For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem."

Romans 15:31- "That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;"

Romans 16:2- "That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also."

Romans 16:15- "Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them."

In The Books of 1 & 2 Corintians:

1 Cor. 1:2- "Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:"

1 Cor. 6:1-2- "Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? [2] Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?"

1 Cor. 14:33- "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."

1 Cor. 16:1- "Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye."

1 Cor. 16:15- "I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)"

2 Cor. 1:1- "Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:"

2 Cor. 8:4- "Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

2 Cor. 9:1 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:

2 Cor. 9:12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

2 Cor. 13:13 All the saints salute you.

In The Book of Ephesians:

Ephes. 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Ephes. 1:15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

Ephes. 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Ephes. 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

Ephes. 4:12- "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"

Ephes. 5:3- "But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;"

Ephes. 6:18- "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

In The Book of Philipians:

Philip. 1:1- "Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:"

Philip. 4:22- "All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household;"

In The Book of Colossians:

Col.1:2- "To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."

Col.1:4- "Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,"

Col.1:12- "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:"

Col. 1:26- "Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:"

In Other New Testament Books:

1 Thes. 3:13- "To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints."

2 Thes. 1:10- "When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day;"

Philemon 1:5- "Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;"

Philemon 1:7- "For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother;"

Hebrews 6:10- "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister;"

Hebrews 13:24- "Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you;"

Jude 1:3- Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."

Rev. 5:8- "And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints;"

Rev. 8:3-4- "And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. [4] And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand;"

Rev. 11:18- "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth;"

Rev. 13:7- "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations;"

Rev. 13:10- "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints;"

We are called to be saints: Be therefore separated from the world and dedicate to the Lord. Daily take authority over the enemy and his schemes. We will overcome the enemy of our souls by faith, by the word of our confession and by the Word of God.

I am a saint saved by grace, I was a sinner, but now I am a saint for time and eternity. So together let's enjoy the victory we have received from Jesus Christ.

But He answered, "You give them something to eat." - Mark 6:37aHas anyone ever asked you to do something that seems totally ridiculous? The very suggestion of their instruction may have brought laughter or even anger for proposing the idea.I imagine that the disciples may have felt this way when Jesus responded with this comment when they asked him how they were going to feed the 5000, who had stayed around to hear him speak. The disciples suggested a logical answer to the problem, "Send the people away so they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat" (Mk 6:36).That wasn't the answer Jesus wanted. He saw the need of the people. He had compassion on them. He wanted to solve the problem with a Kingdom response, not logic. He asked them what they had in their hand.So often what we already have in our hand is what Jesus wants us to use to solve our problems. We must add faith to what we already have in our hand. Then we will see the gospel of the Kingdom manifested to solve problems in a supernatural way. Jesus wanted to meet a need in which God would receive the glory. Sending the people away did not meet the need, nor did it bring glory to the Father.Do not settle for the gospel of salvation only. Jesus came that we might experience the gospel of the Kingdom in its fullest sense. Our job is to look past our logical reasoning and see how God might want to solve our problem in a supernatural way.

What Do I Need To Know?

This is one of the questions asked by a national bishop traveling across America in ministry.Let me try and list seven things the traveling ministry needs to know:

1. You need to be sure of your calling.

2. You need to know that vision shared calls forth funding.

3. You need to know that God has called people to help you, if you have a divine plan and have prayed.

4. You need to know that people give to people who ask, and to those that they know and care about and trust.

5. You need to know that your touch in person, by letter, phone call and ministry - the Holy Spirit uses to call people to stand with you in prayer and giving. Where people are not givers, they are in fact people who don't pray in most cases. Prayer follows money, where your treasure is your heart and prayers are as well.

6. You need mentors in your area of calling, someone knows something you don't know.

7. You need to develop transparency in ministry with integrity, accountability, and pastoral covering.

Those are just some of the areas for traveling ministries. It is not easy, it is ministry, and ministry is work.

Remember the will of God is WORK, and the will of God is spelled WORK.

Most people want the rewards of ministry without the work of ministry. Think and meditate on these things.

Ministry In Portugal - Pray with Us

Sorry April. This is my grand daughter April. She wanted to come and help grandpapa at the ministry office. But she is to young for her dad and mom to loan them their car. I know she would be a great help. But she will have to wait a few years before coming to work for grandpapa.

Than means we have an opening for a person who wants to work in the office doing general jobs, answering the phones, making calls, mailings, postings and light cleaning. In every ministry there is a defining moment. That time when we step out to do that which the Lord has called us to do. The moment comes in different ways to different people.

It is my prayer for you today that such a moment, that will challenge you and you move out in faith. It will change forever the course of your life and ministry. For Lester Sumrall it was when he by faith sold everything a went to find Howard Carter.

Let's agree today that it will take place all of us. For Twyla and I, we desire to touch the nations beginning in 2007. Believe with us for this to happen and we will agree for you as well. This is my prayer for you that in 2007 God will give us a watershed moment in our lives and ministries, in Jesus name!

Only One "Will" On Earth That Produces Peace

Do I have your attention? It is true, there is only one will on earth that will command peace to rule and reign in our lives, and that is the will of God.For it is the will of God that everyman and women come to know Chrsit Jesus as their Savoir and Lord।

As parents and grand parents we must instill in our children and grand children the need for persnal faith in Christ Jesus and their own responsibility to serve Him। When we are saved, that is we ask Jesus to become our Lord and Savior। As Savior He forgives our sins, and Lord He takes control of our life। We must be clear that failure and success in this life begins with our salvation, and ends with our faithful service to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords।

Today as your read this note, I know that the Lord God is speaking to you। You must make a decision। That decision is to live without God or with God's approval। God cannot approve another will for your life or mine, before the earth was created, in His Divine Love, our Heavenly Father set a plan out for our life। The creator, who made us, made a plan in which He could bless us and minister through us to the world। Praise God!

In the midst of surrender to God, we will find the live we are needing and looking for each day। Many people are looking for something, but what they need is in the service of the Lord।

Pray this prayer with me, "Lord Jesus, forgive my sins, come into my life, be my Lord and Savior। Direct my steps and renew my life in you and my mind in your Word, the Bible, daily। Amen।"

If you prayed that prayer? Then you are a member of God's forever family। Welcome to the family। Now spend time daily talking to the Father। That is prayer! Spend time daily in the Word of God, the Bible, that is our road map for this life। Allow Jesus to be your Lord, ask Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit and bring loving believers around you। The learn to hear and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit। For the life in the Spirit is not by sight, but by faith।

Fall Trip to Africa

It has been on my heart sometime to visit our works in Angola. The Lord has not yet opened that door. I was hoping to go in late May, but the door closed for that trip. So now we are praying and looking to the Fall, please keep that trip in your prayers.

News from Europe today, we made plans for a group to come from Europe to the Youth Congress - in Atlanta, GA. I made reservations for the hotel and talked with Free Chapel concerning the conference.

We are working on arrangements for another confrence in September with Free Chapel as well. Pastors from Europe are coming to spend one day there in their leadership conference. Keep these men in your prayers.

What will keep you out of heaven?

Had visitors in the office today, Matt & Katrina VanVleet, we sat and planned a trip to Honduras next year for a youth team from churches and schools in the area. We will need to limit the group to 10 due to space and transportation in Honduras.

If you are interested in going, it is open to all ages. The budget is being put together and we should have dates in the next month nailed down for the trip.

Praise God, as I was reading the life of Lester Sumrall, this thought came to me. Lester was sharing about his father and old time revivals in his area of the nation. What will keep people out of heaven? You know many people live empty lives, but don't want to change their life to live for the Lord.

God help us, to pray for those around us, so that they will know the truth and learn to live the Abundant Life promised by Jesus in John 10:10.

Good Morning!

I wanted to send you a note this morning telling about resent efforts for the school in Africa. The new classroom being built in Guine-Bissau. We received a note from our AVA contact there concerning the gift given to build a new classroom.

The churches in Brazil helped in this effort. Praise God the school now will be able to continue education to the 9th grade. Please remember this nation in your prayers.

Many of the parents of students coming to school don't have any way to make a living. Throughout the nation parents have difficulties providing basic needs for their children.
